Jamaica Aerospace ships its 1000th B-737 Next Gen Landing gear overhaul kit.   As the global B737NG fleet matures JAC has seen an increased demand in its B737NG kits and has increased capacity to meet this demand.   Additionally JAC is seeing an increased demand for its B777 and A320 Landing Gear Overhaul Kits and is making additional investments in inventory to insure it can meet its customers' requirements.   JAC is a major supplier of Value Added Landing Gear overhaul kits to the global commercial and military MRO industry.

We are pleased to announce that Carlton Harvey, Vice President for Jamaica Bearing's Group (JBG) was elected to the PTDA Board of Directors at the PTDA October 2011 summit.   His term is for two years.   Carlton has been active in PTDA committee work for the past 12 years.   He served as vice-chair on the Technical Education Committee for one year and then as the committee Chair for three years.   Power Transmission Distributors Association is the premier industry association representing over 170 PT distributors and over 180 PT manufacturers throughout North America.   Carlton has worked in the PT industry his whole career spanning 30 years and covering markets from paper to printing presses.   All of us at JBG congratulate and support Carlton in his new role as the newest PTDA director.
